The Biography of
Bishop Brian S. Dykes Sr
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Brian received his musical gifts at the age of seven when he began to sit down and play the piano early on Saturday mornings, which was the start of his passion for music. Brian would practice every day on his music, as he desired to be a "great musician".
The lord increased in Bishop's Dykes life, and doors begin to open for him. Bishop has worked with a host of gospel musical artist, such as, the Anointed Pace Sisters of Atlanta, GA., The Clark Sisters of Detroit, MI., the Late Bishop Rance Allen, the late Timothy Wright, Hezekiah Walker, the late James Moore, and many more. Bishop Dykes has also recorded with Rev. Milton Biggham of the world-renowned Georgia Mass Choir. He has completed four recordings, "It Was the Blood", "We Give Thanks Live Recording", "Prayer and Meditation" CD and He’s Great. Bishop Elect Dykes also served as Music Director for Dorinda Clark Cole for over 15 years.
Bishop Dykes has also served as Minister of Music under some great Leaders such as: Superintendent Dr. Williams
Superintendent Jesse Smalley Bishop Ronald Kimble and Bishop Larry Shaw.
The Lord called Bishop Dykes into the Ministry over 20 years ago. He was ordained and licensed in The Church of God in Christ, under the late Bishop Matthew Williams, of the Southwestern Jurisdiction. He received his doctorate degree in Theology in "2007", he was the former Pastor of The Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of Gainesville, Florida that was founded by his Father the late Pastor Sherman Dykes. Bishop Dykes Founded his first Ministry the Redeemed Fellowship Church, in Ocala, Florida in "2006". In "2012” he begin helping and Assisting the Greater Upper Room Ministries, Inc., St. Petersburg, Florida. In "2014", Bishop Dykes was led of the Lord to change the Ministry name to Christ Harvest Ministries in Gainesville Fl where He is Currently serving as Senior Pastor.
In August 2018 Dr Dykes was Elevated to the office of Overseer under Bishop George Butts Presiding Prelate of New Heart Ministries Daytona Fl.
Bishop Dykes has launched two other works Christ Harvest SC and Christ Harvest St Petersburg Fl.

Bishop Dykes is Married to Lady Latasha Dykes who serves alongside him in Ministry and they strive together to lead and serve God’s people.
Bishop Dykes is a proud father of three Ariel, Brian Jr and Lauryn.
Bishop Brian Dykes heart desire is to be an effective servant in the body of Christ. His motto is "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, oh Lord, my strength, and my Redeemer". He studies the word to show himself approved, a workman rightly dividing the word of truth.
Despite his achievements and successes Bishop Dykes main focus is seeing souls saved and delivered.
